I was kidnapped and taken to #road2ca. I am not a quilter, so the stakes were really low. I met a bunch of really cool people though and saw some gorgeous quilts!

Part of my haul from Road2CA. Someone had the audacity to ask me what I was going to make with it. Quilting and fabric procurement are separate hobbies.
*The green/salmons are outside my comfort zone but appealed to my sense of doing something different.

Thought I would show a process pic of the intense stitching on my small quilt, “ Begonia Swirl”. I move the fabric under the needle using unmarked free motion quilting techniques. Very relaxing to me. I love how the thread makes it come to life. Project sample for Road2Ca painting on silk workshop.
