Data Centre + Battery ≠ "renewable energy"

Airtrunk is causing a massive impact on the grid. They wanted 400 megawatts, but got 300 and the remaining 100 has to be "flexible"

So this is just the bare minimum, yet they frame it as climate altruism and "clean tech"

Yes, we have them, and we're bound to get more because the internet can't function without them.

There's big money in them, but AirTrunk, Australia's largest hyperscale data center operator, was sold recently to foreign investors.
