[Shocking] Blueprints of Humanoid Robot 'RP1' Fully Released! The Dark Side of Development Competition Driven by Open-Sourcing - AIテクノロジーまとめ
Shanghai-based robotics startup Roboparty has published the mechanical designs, custom PCB manufacturing data, and control/learning software for its humanoid robot RP1 on GitHub. The release includes everything from SolidWorks design data to simulation models, aiming to support modifications and experiments by researchers and developers. The company first unveiled the robot at an international conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, in September 2026, and officially announced it in October. The RP1 features 24 degrees of freedom for the standard model and 30 degrees of freedom including the head for the pro model. It is equipped with Rockchip's RK3588 as the main processor, with an independent real-time MCU handling motion control and emergency stops. Four types of heads are available depending on the application, and the five-fingered hands adopt a proprietary mechanism. The joints utilize in-house developed modules, adjusting the movement of the entire body by decentralizing high-speed joint control. Open-source licenses apply to the hardware designs, requiring conditions to be met for modification and distribution. For the learning environment, reinforcement learning environments based on NVIDIA's Isaac Lab are provided. While pricing and shipping schedules have not been announced, mass production programs are planned for the latter half of the fourth quarter of 2026. When procuring and operating overseas, it is important to check data management conditions and local regulations.

I don't know how I feel about these robots, if they are telling the truth and the device works, this is the only way I would trust them:
