My WIP Londinium follows Flora, a restorationist that works at London’s National Gallery in 1988. Her latest project involves restoring Primavera by Botticelli, but not all with the painting is what it seems 👀

It’s Day 2 of #RomanceWritersConnect so here’s a snippet from 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲 - basically Call the Midwife in 1930s Ireland.
Peggy, a millworker from a poor part of Belfast, has managed to get a place in a midwifery training programme, where she meets Dan, a medical student from a different world.
