A Halifax-based timber carpentry supplier has been acquired out of administration by a connected company. Heywood Rooftruss Company Limited, which supplied timber roof trusses, fell into administration in July 2025, with Martyn Rickels and Anthony Collier of FRP Advisory appointed as joint administrators. In accounts for the year to October 31 2023, the company reported turnover of around £10.1 million, down from £10.6 million a year earlier, but increased its operating profit from £1 million to £1.3 million. Its total equity at the time amounted to approximately £1.4 million.
