Faulknyer actually *can* sing, just doesn't all that often. If he does, it's very quiet and while he's working. He used to sing all the time, before he was a Warden. The halla liked his singing.

Faulknyer loves being outside, sleeping under the stars, listening to nightbirds and insects. It reminds him he's Dalish.

He knows that Emmrich may not love it, so he makes it comfortable with a tent, plush bedding, and a hammock. Emmrich indulges his love.

When Emmrich runs his hands through Faulknyer's hair he turns into a pile of vaguely elf-like goo.

And then if Emmy pulls said hair he gets a lot more fun 😘

Faulks is an acts of service guy. He usually organizes Emmrich's office or cooks meals. When he's not in acts of service mode, he gives Emmrich (amazing) massages or he'll hold him while reading from books he doesn't understand. All because it makes Em happy. #rfotd #rookfacts #faulknyerthorne

Faulknyer would most definitely be a rock fan. Classic, punk, heavy metal, anything loud and energetic he would enjoy. He'd probably love, like, Incubus and Sleep Token 🤣

Emmrich is horrified by his musical tastes.

#rookfacts#rfotd#faulknyerthorne

Faulknyer would rather stay in. Parties make him uncomfortable. If Emmrich really wanted to go out, he'd happily go along. Mostly to have the opportunity to see Em dressed up, and to take it all off him later 👀

Faulknyer is afraid of dogs. When he was a kid, shem would set dogs on his clan for sport. He's got a scar on his shoulder from a bite. He does not enjoy Minrathous. It takes a lot of strength to not stab the stray dogs as they venture close or bark.

#rfotd#rookfacts#faulknyerthorne

Faulknyer's first language is Dalish/elven. He knew a cursory amount of the common tongue before becoming a Warden. Since then, he works hard to keep his Dalish heritage alive and speaks elven whenever he can. It feels better to speak his mother tongue.

Faulknyer isn't one for subtlety. If he's in a rare mood where he doesn't say, "hey let's fuck," he will start with catching Emmrich around the hips a lot, tugging him close, kissing the side of his neck, and maybe taking s bite for good measure.

After Weisshaupt. Faulknyer was a mess, stressed beyond his breaking point, not eating and plagued by horrific nightmares. Emmrich was patient and took care of Faulknyer and found a way to make him happy. Faulknyer started calling Emmrich vehnan after. #rfotd #rookfacts #faulknyerthorne

Faulknyer sucks at lying. You gotta have him clam up and glare, don't make this idiot talk.

Faulknyer doesn't like the heat, but he can deal with it. He mostly doesn't do well with severe weather changes, since it'll trigger headaches and joint pain. Being a Warden ain't easy on the body. He won't complain, though. Only those close to him will notice.

What's your Rook's favorite animal?

Faulknyer loves the griffons. He likes all animals except for dogs, mostly because shem would set dogs on his clan and he learned to hate them. But he adores cats and most birds. 💕

#rfotd#rookfacts#faulknyerthorne

Faulknyer has nothing but the memories of his clan and family. All that he has is his vallaslin.

But Evka gave him a worry stone once she got to know him, and he never leaves without it.
