Mini of the month - terraining day 2

Entry 9 by @airylan.bsky.social

Cyberpunk Gate / Checkpoint / Guard Post.

#Nerdlings #MiniOfTheMonth
There are two towers with glow lighting wrapped around them, an upper level with armoured defense, a large gate with almost concrete style triangular buttresses and the gate itself is white, and a speaker area for communications. The gate is mostly open. It is guarded by two Vesk and an Android (from the Starfinder minis range), with one Vesk with a rotory cannon standing on the lower level, and Vesk with rifle and the Android with sniper rifle on the top. You can also see the elevator door (the elevator is currently showing the upper floor, but it's just painted on). Game-wise, the elevator would take an action, or full movement, depending on game, to go from lower level to upper level. It was constructed out of foam core for the base, triangular segments for the gate cover, and upper floor; plasticard for the gate itself and the "lighting", as well as the upper armoured lip to protect the minis on top; and toilet paper tubes for the two towers and cardboard for the elevator. It was painted in blue-greys for the majority of it, sponged on. The gate itself is painted white. The lighting is painted as a glowing red, with splashes onto the towers and a white line down the middle. The elevator door is silver, and the indicator lights are painted on flat in black and white. S „šustěním“ se automaticky rozloží čtyři skládací rotory (křídla). Současně aerodynamická mikroocasní ploutev (křidélka) na ocase raketoplánu pod působením torzní pružiny automaticky provede 15stupňové zpětné jemné doladění podle směru gravitace (princip bumerangové dynamiky tekutin).

I still have fond memories of rotory phones. It's why we say dial a number.

Phone numbers used to be restricted to 7 digits because it made them easier to memorize.

look at it his way you had to work to dial a rotory phone.

[Straightening the rotory blade out again]

It's truly pathetic. [Smiling in enjoyment]

[The speedster was quietly sobbing, both legs ending in a gorey mess, one servo ruined and busted and chest plating pried open, flaring spark pierced with a jagged piece of the bot's own plating]

In SCCA road racing, I loved the Formula M open wheel cars. Rotory engine in the back, zero exhaust system - just open engine port. On deceleration, they could throw fire a foot behind the car.

Images from lamode show a puma helicopter intact during the strikes at the airfield.

If the strike were meant to destroy, or even cripple VZ military, why leave a valuable rotory wing lift asset like that alone?

It's so awesome. Just fucked up every way you slice it.

I'm seeing this with Gen Alpha.

The rest? I think they identify with iPad more than rotory phone.

It's always tech stuff. Don't talk about modem sounds, just open a browser.

It's why it's best to avoid tech and pop culture references in writing to make it timeless over period.
