What do you guys think of ‘Rotoscoping’?
It’s almost like tracing in a way but it’s great for nailing the minute little details in art and especially animation.

Global Compendium of Animation: R is for Ralph Bakshi.
American independent animator noted for his gritty expressionism with extensive rotoscoping, as illustrated by The Lord of the Rings (1978) in which he layered live-action footage over painterly cels.

Unrelated to the rotoscoping, at that final part, I'm curious about why her outfit was textured in blocky splotches. Orange and black instead of the final colors.

It's one of my favorite scenes in the entire show. The sudden rotoscoping along with said rotoscoping being a Cab Calloway reference is 100% up my alley.

God I love the bit of smoothly rotoscoping a scene in an animation that’s otherwise puppet-y. This scene gave me a good chuckle
