Spent Christmas Day with family. Had plenty of energy when I got home, so did a Christmas Day rowing session. Happy that I haven't gained any weight thus far through the Holiday season!

First HIIT workout on the RowErg in a long time. Happy with how it ended, but what a struggle. I almost bailed several times. Actual MHR was 163. The 212 was an errant reading.

This is BS. I've been running, bicycling and lifting for almost 40 years. My fitness is in the 98th percentile for my age. I weigh the same as I did when I graduated from college in 1988. I did almost everything right, but still had thyroid cancer twice, which isn't lifestyle related. Fck this guy!🧵

When COVID hit I broke down and bought www.concept2.com/ergs/rowerg. It breaks in half easy to store if needed. I do love it, but $$$. I will say that a cheap exercise bike is nicer to use than a cheap rower. Ultimately though getting on something and moving is better than nothing!

This C2 model D (now RowErg) is a lot like my ancient fluid cyclops.
There's no easy mode other than going really slowly.
It wasn't a MTB ride like planned, but it's better than nothing and I'm just hoping that I can turn this into consistency and whatever that brings.
