For those of you who use RPM out there and want to add models or tiles with translucent sections, you may want to add them in as a blank actor on the map, rather than just as-is.

On the left is the trees added in as blank actors, and on the right as 3d objects.
A grouping of 5 cherry tree models in RPG Paper Maker, added in as actors using the Objects tool. A lot less culling on the models behind each tree can be seen. The same 5 trees in RPG Paper Maker, this time just added in as 3d objects on the same map in the same positions. The transparent part of the leaves is now culling out any models behind them.

After much trial and tribulation, I have managed to create a model & texture it in blockbench, AND successfully export and implement said model & texture into RPG Paper Maker, all on my own!

A simplistic 3D CGI pine tree, created in the Blockbench modelling software. The tree topiary is comprised of 3 layers of cones, and the trunk is just a cylinder that tapers inward as it rises. The bottom of the model sits slightly under the ground layer. A view of a grassy, 2D plane in a 3D space, as possible in the RPG Paper Maker engine, with several copies of the previously mentioned simple pine tree model dotted around the area. The default "hero" character, Lucas, is visible and rather small compared to the woods around him, but his presence has never really been that important, has it?
