I played RS2 back when the ditch first was added and even back then I thought “this is great, mechanically and thematically”, seeing that a big chunk of the community seemed to disagree is kinda crazy to me. Glad sentiment seems to have changed as more players came to osrs.

Romancing saga 2 remake made rs2 so accessible in a lovely way, while still keeping many core values of the original.
Hoping 3 does the same, even if some systems feel a lil copy paste from 2s remake battle wise.

Wonder if they’ll scrap the phantom maze in RS3R like they did the maze of memory in RS2R. Unlike RS2 Remaster, there’s no recruitable character tied to the bonus maze in RS3 Remaster. It does expand background lore, personal struggles, psychological depths for characters.

I cannot wait to hear the Romancing SaGa 3 remake ost. Been having a blast with the RS2 Remake and the ost there is phenomenal, with the iconic Kenji Ito bassline still very present.

OSRS at this point is a completely different thing from RS2. If you enjoy it, more power to you, but it doesn’t hold any appeal to me anymore.
