With preparation for the the 2027 edition of the Eurovison Song Contest underway, Slovenia's RTVSLO have announced that they plan to meet with the EBU to discuss concerns relating to its future participation. Participation still undecided Slovenia have yet to announce their intentions around participation in Burgas following their decision to boycott the 2026 edition of the contest due to Israel's involvement. Executives from RTVSLO will meet with the EBU to discuss the contest's adoption of the controversial changes to the contest last year that attempted to mitigate issues multiple broadcasters has with the running of the contest and Israel's inclusion.
