Many thanks to everyone who came out today to help clear rubbish off Vatersay West Beach. 15 volunteers turned up and a massive 135kg of rubbish was collected. 108kg was old fishing gear and the rest was plastic.

Postal deliveries are saved up for us weekly as a treat. As well as three magazines and 6 cards here is our junk mail for the week. Three offers ran out 3 weeks ago. Pity. Our posties would so much rather not have to carry this rubbush destined for the recycling.
