Spent a good chunk of the day ignoring the chaos and putting myself in physical pain instead. 50k at Bath Nature preserve. What did I miss? #rundouchery

Today's avoiding-the-news trail half marathon #rundouchery. 55F and sunny, couldn't be more lovely weather. 6 minutes off my time from last year & age group award.

Got some #rundouchery in before yesterday's debate. The reservoir was smooth as glass, and the trail is at that point where it's 25% dirt, 25% gravel, and 50% acorns. Welcome to October.

25k of #rundouchery today. Alas rainbow was not a good weather omen as the race director claimed, but I'll take 60F and light rain over the 100F+ temps in some areas.

Goal race of 2024, NE Ohio's Burning River 50 miler. Finished an hour ahead of goal time. Drank 10L of electrolytes and another 2 of water from start to finish; hot and sunny yesterday.
