Runner3 - reminds me of Tropical Freeze if it were a rhythm game
SteamWorld Dig 2 - 2nd time beating, still as addictive as ever
Chasm & Anodyne - fell off previously but gave a 2nd go and super impressed with both!

Played a lot of cool older indies lately to clear out some backlog.
Runner3 - reminds me of Tropical Freeze if it were a rhythm game

As a lover of most things BIT.TRIP (Runner3 was bad) and all things Breakout, Atari can go ahead and inject this into my veins.

In Runner3, Charles Martinet (who is the Narrator for this game and Runner2) is playable, but there's a rare & random chance that his head suddenly turns weird & grotesque before reverting back. The game records each time it happens as a "Spooky Encounter".

spent like an hour and a half completely focused on beating one level in one game. holy shit I love bit.trip rerunner but why does the last level of the Runner3 EP have to be so hard????? like GUH

Runner3 is a good game, but not as good as Runner 2. 2 just felt like perfection while 3 iterated on it and looks nicer but just doesn't feel the same

I'd compare it to Mutant Mudds Super Challenge or Runner3 (pre-patch). Their core concern seemed to be making every part of Hollow Knight way fucking harder but at the cost of being fun.

I'm going to #TooManyGames on Saturday to have Charles Martinet sign my copy of Runner3. He's not only the narrator but also a playable character, and I've yet to unlock him. This is tonight's mission. It will be the first time I play the game not stoned.

Bubsy4D is essentially a self-insert of Bubsy into Demon Tides. Paws on Fire was a self-insert of Runner3. Woolies Strike Back was a self-insert of the Gianna Sisters remake.
As a game, Bubsy doesn't have an identity. It's just a weird way to get more content out of a different game.

I really enjoy this game, but 100%’ing it is a different story. Collectibles force unnecessary replays, some are hidden so well that I needed a guide for them, and there’s one trophy which I had to leave the game idle for…It’s fun, but not the best platinum.
