I’m so happy with how the rendering turned out!! I really think this may be the best thing I’ve ever done (so far). I especially like how the big jacket turned out!

Today’s picture! Say hello to my STILL unnamed chat mascot! (At this point idk if it’s cause I’m lazy or I’m just that indecisive)

Tried my hand at the Frieren thing but sorta didn’t get the exact angle right. This is closer to what angles I work with in live2D rigging. Went ham on the rendering cause I’ve been practicing. Hope y’all like!

I was practicing drawing head angles but omfg this looks so funny. It’s giving “is this a pigeon” energy.

Do I…do I just like desaturated colors? Cause I was trying to pick more vibrant stuff but somehow still ended up here. I guess maybe I can get a redemption arc with the jacket…hopefully… #rxyart #digitalart #dragongirl #vartist #characterdesign #vtuber

I sorta want my ice form to be darker and my thunder form to be more zappy. I also wish I could sketch as fast digitally as I do traditionally. I need to start setting a timer. #digitalart #animegirl #vtuber #rxyart #dragongirl
Two bust up pencil sketches of an anime style dragon girl. The top has a nonchalant expression while the bottom sketch is depicting a large smile.

Don’t like how I draw legs so I was playing around free handing stuff in pen (most ended up looking exactly the same so I tried to do practice on doing bodies with different shapes or weights.

I kid you not this was the transition. From “just a gal named Yoru” circa 2014 to the “ice storm dragon Ryu” circa 2022. I’m still evolving, but this design will likely stay for quite some time.

Probably won’t have finished works for this month, but I’ve always loved ink sketches! I drew my persona as a maid and a mermaid for Maid May and MerMay respectively!
#mermay #maidmay #art #traditionalart #sketch #inkdrawing #rxyart
Ink drawings on lineless sketch paper. One is a surprised dragon girl wearing a maid outfit with a long skirt as she is picking up a pot with a shrub or small tree in it. The other is the same character drawn with a mermaid tail and a bored expression laying on a rock. A girl with short hair, a dragon tail, and dragon wings looking surprised as she lifts a pot containing some sort of tree or shrub. She is wearing a maid outfit with a long skirt and boots. A girl with short hair and a mermaid tail laying on a rock with a bored expression as she rests her face in her hands.

I want a fanart tag but can’t use rxyart cause I already use that for my own artwork. Unsure what would be unique enough though because I don’t want anyone else to have the same. Suggestions are welcome.

Took me a while to get here but this is the second to last of the character redesign requests that I started over a YEAR ago on Twitter. The username shown is the Twitter username.
