Ahhh I am incredibly sad at the outcome the final episode of "Garo: The Sentinel of the East" has given us. I have watched every Garo series since the beginning and have always loved Ryugaverse...but the sadness is real!

The funny thing is that Bandai Namco is credited in later series of what's called the "Ryugaverse" part of the series, and I think there's a non-zero chance MirageGaogamon is based on Garo, not only they're one year apart, Garo had a Burst mode like alt. mode in that window of time.

So I've started the "Ryugaverse" era of #Garo.

Interesting tonal shift. I wonder if they ran into the same issue about timelines as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure did, since if we assume the adventures of Raiga were in the present day you would NEED to timeskip to the future /alt timeline to move ahead.

116. Garo - Sentinel of the East (toku): haven’t seen Crimson Moon stuff, but this feels like the most inessential, weakest Garo entry I’ve seen. Total nothingburger except for breaking up Ryuga & Rian for good to make Goldstorm retroactively worse. Ryugaverse running on fumes, Jinga 2 plz. 5.5/10

Yes but, when you get into the Ryugaverse side of GARO, skip JINGA and Heir to Steel Armor... Just skip them, there's so much GARO, you won't miss a lackluster spin-off and, season.
