Never seen Wataru before but this guy was too cool to pass up!
A really fun cheap kit that’s surprisingly articulated despite the SD like design! 👀

I forgot to mention that I got Ryujinmaru on his feet last night! What an absolute stunner, definitely one of the most interesting HGs I've ever built
I'll build his accessories after work 🗡️

Started building an incredibly cool looking kit tonight, Bandai's HG Amplified Ryujinmaru - Very enjoyable to build so far, it's close to the average 1/100 Gunpla kit in size but isn't nearly as complex as an MG, so it goes together fairly quickly which I'm finding quite satisfying

Roughly six months of plastic modeling, and here's what I have to show for it! I started on New Year's Eve with that lil' Desktop Army Sylphy on the RX-78's shoulders, and just finished up Ran (the dog-girl in blue lingerie and a leash in the background) yesterday!

Just ordered up some tools I didn't have, along with a starter HG RX-78 kit. Seemed like the natural place to start.
I also got one more relevant to my interests: the goofy-ass robit hero from Keith Courage in Alpha Zones

Apparently there was a show in 2020 too and it certainly looks the part! There’s bits of 3D here and there but I’m always glad to see modern anime where artists Actually Draw shit

For reference, we were watching Magic Knight Rayearth, and I heard Selece's voice and realized it was Ryujinmaru from Mashin Hero Wataru.

Finished my 815th anime, Mashin Hero Wataru: The Seven Spirits of Ryujinmaru. It's just an anniversary series made to capitalise on nostalgia, but it's still good fun, especially if you're a Wataru fan, which I am.

He's be higher if he didn't have C-clips but the build itself and finished product are both excellent. Be careful posing the arms.

Never hard of the series this is from in my life, bought it strictly off the Aura emanating from the box and I don't regret it 😤. From the HG AMPLIFIED series, but this fella is closer to MG in height. Articulation, color separation, this fellas got it

Fini Mashin Eiyûden Wataru: Shichikon no Ryûjinmaru.
Même si c'était beaucoup d'ennui, ils vont me manquer les personnages.
