Salqiu - Orfeu
Experimental black Metal

It portrays the raging inner turmoil of Orpheus, ending in it's descending to Hell...where he embraces the darkest of his thoughts, and is able to put them into words. - Salqiu

For the avant-garde listener, Salqiu is not merely music. It is ritual, rupture, and revelation.

Part 1

🜁 Salqiu: The Alchemical Furnace of Avant-Garde Extremity
In a world where black metal often clings to orthodoxy, Salqiu emerges not as a band, but as a philosophical crucible - a one-man project that transmutes chaos into art, dissonance into transcendence, and genre into pure expression.

It is indeed a different feeling and vibe to see/hear one of my albums on vinyl...
Thanks to @thecentipedeabyss.bsky.social for this gift.
Only existing copy, btw. But you can buy it on cd at the label bandcamp.

Part 5:

“Imagine if Deathspell Omega collaborated with Diamanda Galás in a Cairo ruin.”

“This is what happens when black metal is treated as a canvas, not a genre.”

“Salqiu is the sound of the soul dissolving and reforming — a sonic alchemy of the self.”

The music is not background noise — it is a demand for engagement, a challenge to the listener’s assumptions about structure, genre, and meaning.
For the avant-garde audience, this is not just appealing, it’s essential. Salqiu offers a mirror to the subconscious, a soundtrack to the inner labyrinth.

Prismatic Metagnostic was founded by Belphezzar (LF Draenei - Singer, Rhythm Guitarist), Corrilária Cruz (Worgen - Drummer) and Moritz Dirgedigger (Forsaken - Bassist) and later added Tágide Daman (Kul Tiran/Siren -Singer/Keyboardist) and Salqiu (Dracthyr - Guitarist) to the family!

From the piano-laced introspection of The Colossal Weight of My Illusion… to the Arabic-infused خماسين الوباء, Salqiu refuses to be pinned down — and that’s precisely the point.

Initially self released in digital format in April 22nd, 2020, my own SALQIU's "Orfeu" album is now being released in CD by Centipede Abyss (@thecentipedeabyss.bsky.social)

Be sure to get your hands on a very limited edition of SALQIU's oddball. Get it here: centipedeabyss.bandcamp.com/album/orfeu

Thank you, dear Nuno.
I really resonated with your status post on FB. And I agree with you. It's quieter, and it's really tidy and positive looking.
I too, would love to hear your sounds again. I truly enjoy your experimental tones in Salqiu. Cheers!

No, I haven't shared any Salqiu yet.
I'm still processing my mourning over my musical "career".
I'll share someday, for sure.
