The Robots of Death really is such a good Doctor Who story. A murder mystery that needs the Doctor to solve it because everyone on the sandminer can't conceive the idea that robots could be programmed to kill. Just very well written and acted.

The Kaldor City series has a sweary bitterness that's certainly not Doctor Who, but it is pacey, with some sharp gags. But maybe my nostalgia is colouring my perception – some of the sandminer crew were really cruel to each other, and the gore on that one robot's fingers is rather intense.
