アクアワールド大洗で久しぶりに見てきました。
顎が飛び出てしまっていますが、すくすく育っています。

Grenville, North Carolina. this was a shark diving trip on the Coast Guard cutter Spar, which had been sunk to make an artificial reef. It turned out to be a sandtiger shark mating ground.

Als ich dann nach Jahren wieder im Ozeaneum war, war ich fasziniert und entsetzt: Da schwamm ein übergewichtiger Sandtiger rum. In einem Haus, das eigentlich immer halbwegs bedachte Auswahl bei den Aquarienbewohner*innen hatte walten lassen. Also gefragt, was das soll.

Love this, the sand tiger looks very like a smalltooth sandtiger, which I think is one of the most underrated sharks and a great basis for a sort of generalised lamniform look

Great choice! 🦈💚 Mine used to be the Sandtiger Shark because of its cool teeth and how their young eat each other in the womb. But the more I learned about Hammerheads the more they caught up and might be slightly ahead now. 😅

That sounds really cool! Can't wait to see all the beautiful sharks. 🥰💚 I'm also still thinking about how to include some on my arm. I think it'll be a silhouette of a hammerhead from above and a tooth from a sandtiger somewhere, but I'm still unsure about who else.
