Streaming and preparing for Sandyfest.

Hey, I think you'd make a great part of Sandyfest this year. Maybe we can talk about it sometime.

Well with me pulling this account back out, I might as well show the kind of stuff I've been up to recently. Be ready to expect plenty more if Twitter goes down in flames.

-Patreon/Subscribestar commission
-Hyperella Issue 13
-Sandyfest 2024
-Loft of Lost Lewd Ladies issue 120

I saw Sandy 2-3 times a yr after that—not nearly enough

I last had dinner w Sandy in November—As we were waiting, Sandy leaned back in his chair and gave his familiar smile & eyebrow raise. I love how he brightened when I mentioned a few old friends & Sandyfest

I will miss him.

I did not write an entry for the Sandyfest book, wanting to keep it for students

I would tell Sandy now how much I appreciated his generosity & unwavering support. He believed in the Inequality & Social Policy program, and in his quiet way, helped ensure its continuation... /15

But the true motivation for Sandyfest was to express appreciation for all that Sandy meant to us

I had forgotten how wonderful that evening was until I relistened to the toasts recently. "It's all a bit embarrassing for a shy boy from Baltimore," Sandy would say /6

Yet Sandyfest posed a real challenge: Participants wanted to celebrate Sandy. But for Sandy, a good conference was a chance to learn something new

We planned 3 sessions we hoped would fit the bill
1️⃣ A multidisciplinary dialogue
2️⃣ New empirical findings
3️⃣ 10 Big Ideas™️
