Art has been very difficult for me the past year, but I'm still doing my best to stick with it!! I humbly offer you guys this piece of my oc 🥰

『 #art #sanguinesketch 』
A half-body piece of my OC, Nubia, set against a subtly sparkling purple background with thin gold framing. She has brown skin, dark makeup, and heterochromia of lavender and silver; the expression on her face is wholly unimpressed. She has desaturated purplish-black hair that framed her body in long waves, with some spilling over her shoulders; her dress is dark, shimmering faintly, trimmed in what looks to be a golden crescent moon at the top. See-through pink material covers the rest of her upper body from chest to neck, ending at a dark choker with lighter purple gems. Her gloves are dark, also trimmed in gold and with purple gems this time, and a pink satin shawl is draped over her arms. Her hands are folded in an elegant pose.

Slowly I am working on bigger pieces... But! In the meantime, here are a couple of design chibis I've done recently. 🥰 One is my OC, and the other is a gift for @ratherlargebears.bsky.social !!

『 #art #sanguinesketch 』
Symmetrical design chibi of a friend's OC! Set against a desaturated gradient background, his color scheme is a mixture of greens—from dark, to vibrant, to glowing. His clothes are accented with gold, and there are pieces of green jewelry here and there. His skin is a pale gray, his eyes are a glowing cyan, and he has smatterings of scales; his lower half ends in a curling snake tail, also green. He has black hair that reflects the glow of a halo behind him. Symmetrical design chibi of the artist's OC, Nubia. She has dark skin and heterochromia—pale purple and silver—and her hair is long, wavy, and a desaturated purple-black. She wears a deep purple dress trimmed in gold; a pink scarf is draped over her arms and trails the floor behind her. Three little creatures float near her, with floral colors and sharp teeth. The background is a simple gradient.

places a rare piece of art down and goes back to baking in the heat

Digital artwork of an OC, Amalthea, with gradient lineart and a wavy, pale rainbow background. She sits, holographic jacket sliding off one shoulder as she plays with a lock of her wavy white hair. Her top and skirt are shiny and green; the skirt has heart-shaped zippers. She has smatterings of pink scales, bright makeup, and horns.

(quietly peeks in) Hello, I finally drew an updated mini-ref of my favorite OC, and I wanted to share it with the class...

『 #art #sanguinesketch 』
Symmetry chibi of the artist's OC against a plain dark background. She has brown skin, silver eyes with darkened sclera, and smatterings of silver scales; her hair is long and curly, and black fading down into a starry, lighter blue. Purple and gold are the most prominent colors in her design. She wears a dark purple dress with golden detailing, with a darker purple cloak that has a galaxy patterned underside. She has a moon and star motif.

I still draw sometimes. 💜 Ruby for my bestie @dazzlingend.bsky.social !!

A portrait of Ruby, a friend's OC! He has white hair, yellow eyes, and pale skin; and he's dressed in a brown sweater with a lighter brown coat over it. He's holding an apple dripping cartoonish green poison.

@jirox.bsky.social's OC, Mara Amira! Thank you so much for your generous donation towards Poppy's vet bills. 🥰💕

『 #art #sanguinesketch 』
Portrait of a Hrothgar named Mara Amira. She's dressed in dark colors, with a raised hood, and is facing the viewer. Her black-tipped ears poke through the top of her hood. Black face paint that extends from mid-forehead to below the eyes, and a little bit down the bridge of her nose, accentuates her piercing yellow irises and red sclera.

A portrait of Q'abetsu, a friend's OC. She has long, green hair in two braids; one is behind her, and the other is in front. Her skin is pale, with markings, and her eyes are black. She has a few accessories, and is wearing an orange top. The background is simple.

#sanguinesketch #originalcharacters #artistsofbsky #friendsart This is so beautiful. I think I forgot to review this. But this is one of my wives, Indrani. She came out stunning, and I hope you draw more. 2025 has been a shitty year, and I hope 2026 treats you better.
