Should add - we are seeing the Antonioni films in one marathon day - 3 films back to back. Shouldn't be too bad, having seen Santango (7 1/2 hours) a couple of times.
Very excited about seeing Antonioni's Trilogy of Incommunicability in June at @filmlinc.bsky.social:
L’avventura, La notte, L’eclisse
📽️ Such great films to see on the big screen.

In honour of the late-great Béla Tarr, we're bringing his 7+ hour epic rendering of László Krasznahorkai's novel, SÁTÁNTANGÓ, back in 4K for an All-Night Marathon screening on 20th June, as part of #BleakWeek! The film will be presented in 3 parts with 2 breaks. 🎟️ buff.ly/ADWYmJZ

Who is Santango? Another I’ve never heard of 😂. Never mind. It was 2025 NP winner.
Balzac is a big missing hole in my reading.
Tokarczuk is a top favorite- I think I’ve read all of her translated works. But a group of us did read Books of Jacob when it first came out…with @paperpills10bsky.social
