#sarnie
I thought you were talking about buttering both sides of both slices which seems excessive unless there's a toastie machine involved.
Obviously you butter the inside of both slices in a regular sarnie.

The only time both sides should be buttered is when said sarnie is destined for a toasted sandwich maker or panini grill, anything else should indeed be labelled as perverse.

Gosh that's unusual. Did you get a sarnie? I do appreciate when people try to reduce waste by sharing.

This seems to be the only gluten-free sarnie in the range, so not exactly a big choice for gluten-avoiders, but at least Tesco have chosen one of their best fillings for it (I gave the gluteny version 10/10). Not a fan of the bread, but still love that filling. FREE FROM - CHEESE & ONION gets 7/10.

After 67 years it's only just dawned on me (Since Autism diagnosis) why I couldn't eat the crusts on sliced bread. I used to hide them in a tissue and put them in my pocket (Mum must have frequently found them) Just made cheese sarnie and bread is a bit dry. Had to rip the crusts off. 1/2

Although Rougham Tower closes for the Winter after next week.
Have a look at the website for events.
It’s my official hidey-hole.
I’ll treat you to coffee and a bacon sarnie there one day.

For all those marvelling at last night's Super League GF the Australian equivalent kicks off at 9am. Sky/Now/ Dodgy required.
Bacon sarnie and a brew lined up for me before kick off.
Sydney Roosters v Newcastle Knights.
I'm hoping Knights come thru on account of my Aussie nephew connection...

My lunch today will also involve tiger bloomer, most likely fashioned into some sort of doorstep sarnie creation with ham and various salad items 😎
