YES TO THIS! i completely agree and it always gets me thinking about sukuna's relationship with kenjaku too tbh. the fact that kenjaku created a vessel to cage him?! before i'm done with this fandom, you will also get some heian era fic out of me. i envision sukutenken as heian era sashisu tbh 🤷

I think one way to tap into the most richness and feeling is to explore sashisu in the absence of one of them (where the absent one haunts the dynamic and is always threaded through everything that is between the other two). But I also love when all 3 of them are there and present! Haha
