Not saying sky is going bust but they have been operating at a loss for the past few years (mainly to fund content creation), Their SatTV business is waning as people chose iptv over it, they don't even promote their sat tv on the site any more, you can find it, but you gotta dig for it.

Some nearby areas have had 15"/380mm over the last ~5 hours and have had flooding issues. The heavy rain caused attenuation of sattv and 700 MHz P25 bcast.

Late to the party, but I learned about Toosheh - satellite filecasting project that enable users to get digital content over SatTV w/o access to Internet. It's inherently one-way and sender 100% controls what user gets. I can immediately see plenty of use cases for ZK here.
