#savethevoid back from the vet, sugar is under good control now, her hock wound is healing well, now to moving her to her normal food (we've got dry Youngagain Zero, no carbs at all!) to remove the tube.
SHE'S BACK, BITCHES! 🐈‍⬛

#savethevoid update: we are switching from Lantis to ProZinc insulin, Lantis would give way too intense curves with lows too close to comfort (3.something), hopefully this one works better.

#savethevoid update: we had a recheck, she's doing well, the dangerous part is behind us, now we need to balance out her glucose levels and hope for remission.
I have no idea how people have babies, caring for her is enough to turn us into zombies.

#savethevoid E tube placed, she's on her regular diabetic diet now, and she's stable, fever gone with IV ports, and she will be coming back home either today late at night or early in the morning tomorrow!

#savethevoid another update: nothing new found, she's being prepared for feeding tube installation and will be coming home 24-48 hours after that. I'm cleaning every corner of the apartment, getting ready disposable litter boxes, towels, everything for her hygiene to be impeccable. And a new bed!

#savethevoid: I have no words but the fever was caused by an inflamed IV port from the first hospital. If there is nothing else found today, we'll be taking her home tomorrow with a feeding tube installed, as she stopped eating (depressed because we "abandoned" her?!)

#savethevoid we transferred our little bug to another hospital, referred by our vet. The facilities there look so sci-fi that it's hard not to feel hope tbh. She's hospitalized for 4 days, and we'll see how it goes.

#savethevoid we are transferring her to another hospital, three hours from here, where they can assess her better. But that's our last shot, we cannot continue this for too long, she's not getting any better and suffering.

#savethevoid bad news, she's not getting better even though she's stable, and they want to transfer her to a different hospital where a specialist can assess her better. Or put her down.
I'm currently looking for both a car to drive us and money for another deposit.

#savethevoid update: not much has changed, but fever is gone, and we are starting anti-viral for resp infection (she got everything at the same time).

#savethevoid We went to see her, and poor baby is really sick, I don't think she even noticed me. The treatment plan changed after the ultrasound, and they are hoping she will feel better in the next couple of days, but she's staying at the hospital for the time being.
Dear god, this is hard.

#savethevoid No important updates yet, I just miss her so much. See her everywhere, hear her jumping of the chair behind me. Come back home ;(

#savethevoid Update: Sugar is low, ketones are almost back to normal (meaning very little left) but she still running a fever and they suspect there is also an infection in the kidneys or something else going on. She also doesn't eat much.
