one time I worked for a startup that had a former videogames industry ops guy, who insisted on standing up a full blown scaleable platform for the single customer MVP.

This seems really interesting as a potential avenue to get around Starlink throttling. Haven’t heard anyone in Kyiv mention it as an option, what is the situation with the terminals for this network, are they produced / scaleable yet?

Heat pumps in older homes are deeply invasive and installation expensive. By all mean make them compulsory in new homes - that would scale - but expecting older homes to do similar would not.
If they could make electric boilers (to fit to existing radiators) more efficient that would be scaleable.

Don't just say no though. Say why. Is CRA scaleable? Is "default" going to be the new target? Is shooting yourself in the foot an effective approach to security? Is the EU market going to remain essential to those who could incur the greatest cost to conform to the CRA?

No, that's very specifically not what I described doing. But okay, I built a prototype patent search application last week using a week's worth of credits and about eight hours of my time. It's built on postgresql and elasticsearch and is about ~80 hours from being a scaleable public facing site.
