When i first saw this thing in ScarVo i instantly went out of my way to find it's evolution item the second i caught a Charcadet. Its such a cool pokemon and both evos exeude a badass aura behind them. And they're really fun to use

Honestly loved the scarvo dlc so much and also hydrapple became an instant top tier fave like what more could you want

Ok the thing with ScarVo is I really love what they're trying to do, I just kinda hate the execution, I'm more optimistic they'll get it right in WiWa

More about art style and less about graphical fidelty to me. Like ScarVo just looks ugly. Where as even Sword and Shield look pretty decent outside of the wild areas. And most of the gens before it look pretty good imo. Can't fully comment on Legends Z-A as I haven't played it yet.

im really not convinced yet that z-a’s cooldown style combat system is better than arceus’s swift-normal-heavy system. it reeks of the spammy terrastalization battles in scarvo; it has a lot of potential but early on it’s a little too mindless

It doesn't help that other, better monster taming games have come out in the years since Legends: Arceus. I've got way more enjoyment out of Cassette Beasts, Beastieball, the demo for Digimon Story: Time Stranger, and even Palworld than I ever did with ScarVo and Legends Zaza.

I think the game would have been better if they just ripped off made in abyss entirely and the entire game took place in area zero

I understand the criticisms behind ZA, I really do. The buildings are flat AF and the lack of voice acting is a bummer.

honestly ScarVo is a fine game. it has it's faults but the story is damn good (legit the best mainline story of the series) at that ending segment..was really good. i wish it leaned into the open world aspect a little though but i understand your reason for not being into it.

i'm not trying to come off as a whiny defender there's plenty of stuff to complain about: ScarVo feels like false open world. Locking mega stones behind ONLINE ranked matches...ScarVo clearly needing more time btu was sent out early just to meet a deadline...but no lets complain about mega design..
