I just completed creating the roadwork for the town scene. In the center island will be a small park. The park will likely be the last update for this layout as I'll be moving and will have to sell the layout. #modeltrain #nscale #ngauge #modelrailroad #modelrailroading #woodlandscenics #scenicridge

It's the little details that make the layout. I added a few guardrails to the layout. I'm thinking I need to add more rocks to help create a better transition where the buildings will be placed. #modeltrain #nscale #ngauge #modelrailroad #modelrailroading #woodlandscenics #scenicridge

Temporarily placing the gazebo onto the layout. Looks really good within the trees. You also get a sense of scale. #modeltrain #nscale #ngauge #modelrailroad #modelrailroading #woodlandscenics #scenicridge

I wanted to post a bit of an update on my progress with planting my trees into my layout. It's a lot of work and I'm getting over a cold, so there's still a whole lot more to do. I need to buy more trees. #modeltrain #nscale #ngauge #modelrailroad #modelrailroading #woodlandscenics #scenicridge

Another 20 new trees for my layout. This is a fourth type of tree which I will blend in with the current groupings of trees. Forests don't have just one type of tree after all. #modeltrain #nscale #ngauge #modelrailroad #modelrailroading #woodlandscenics #scenicridge
