I realize the irony of getting a tattoo, something my Mom would hate as a way to remember her, but here we are. She always used a fountain pen, particularly the drug store Scheaffer No Nonsense fountain pen.

Been sketching with fountain pens since the (very late) ’80s. Tho’ I have much nicer, my favorite is still a cheapo Scheaffer cartridge jobbie. (I refill the cartridges with a syringe for a broader ink selection)

i have top 10 artist for like a lot of different styles and mediums so if i'm boiling it down who i think i take the most inspiration from then it's probably Kohei Horikoshi, HIRO, Tom Lovell, Mead Scheaffer and Dean Cornwell, maybe so like my top 5 lol

Not sure, mine are mostly scheaffer, which I can feed through the converters, and they're the right size for the pen.
A friend buys a lot of colours, and we often nib-fill pretty colours a drop at a time from the sushi fish, to get colour-dappled pages.

Do you remember the old Scheaffer Peacock Blue? I learned to write with that ink (for whatever reason my parents had fountain pens around). It's no longer made, so I mix my own-- it's pretty close. And then variants of that.

Just order yourself a little starter set w/ a few different pens/nib sizes - I like Scheaffer... They come w/ little ink cartridges. No need to use ink wells until you're into it more
