In 2022, Cobb County fired elementary teacher Kimberle Rinderle for reading a book from the scholastic book fair about a kid with a purple shadow, because of fears of kids learning about LGBTQ+ people.
Now, Democrat Michael Garza beats Republican David Chastain and flips it 4-3 Democrat.
