De Stichting Schoolsport Federatie Suriname (SSFS), uitvoeringsorgaan van het ministerie van Jeugdontwikkeling en Sport (JOS), bereidt zich intensief voor op deelname aan de Inter Island Schoolgames 2026. In dat kader vond van 27 tot en met 29 oktober een driedaagse training in de sportdiscipline 3x3 basketbal plaats in de gymzaal van het Mr. Dr. J.C. De Miranda Lyceum.
