Ovate polygons
Stress-shaped to a cupped cusp

The sixth stanza from my poem "Seven Lessons," inspired by the amazing little book "Seven Brief Lessons on Physics" by Carlo Rovelli. It was published in my second collection "The Museum of Unwearable Shoes."

I, too, hope to get there one year soon! #lymeregisfossilfest #maryanning #sciencepoems
I didn’t manage to get to Lyme Regis Fossil Festival this year, which is a shame as I remember picking my first fossil up on Charmouth beach in the early 70s, and my Dad filmed it on his cine camera. My love of dinosaurs and fossils has not dimmed since. I hope everyone had a great time!
