Today in sentences that caused me psychic damage: "I'm one of a group of high-IQ sf/f fantasy geeks who've been in a karass for 40+ years."
I guess an old school science fiction geek is exactly the target for believing in and prizing IQ: a racist/eugenicist fantasy that's vaguely scienterrific.
