New stingless bee tattoo for submitting and finishing (corrections are almost done) my PhD. My PhD focused on the cognition, learning and brains of the only Sydney stingless bee - Tetragonula carbonaria. I have a pretty full arm of bee tattoos now!

Because it’s #NationalTattooDay, and I am a scientist but #notjustascientist here is my knitting & botanical-themed tattoo. A little reminder that my hobbies and self-care are so important in the crazy worlds of academia and science. #scientistswithtattoos
