There are other fish diseases associated with myxozoans, for example Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae causes proliferative kidney disease in salmon, Myxobolus cerebralis causes "whirling disease" (also in salmon), and Myxobolus acanthogobii causes mackerel to get bent 🧪
