i very much wish it wasnt this way but ai scrapers use everything. theyll use your bluesky. theyll use your discord. “they dont use x site!” they will when it gets popular because everyone moves there to avoid scrapers.

I miss the days when it was understood that fanfic was uncopyrightable, public domain stuff. It sucks that scrapers and scammers are able to sweat and clip the fanfic, but that's the price of (unauthorized) playing in someone else's sandbox.

No. Neither e621 nor e6ai are running scrapers. Individuals run scrapers on e621, Furaffinity, Inkbunny, deviantart, twitter, etc. And then they post the results to any site that will accept such content.

I would have thought rampant intellectual property theft would be the absolute top priority for Etsy.... But no, they are still collecting fees on those sales, aren't they? And the data is still feeding the scrapers

Strip the metadata from your photos before uploading. AI will then rely on Etsy's auto tags. The more anonymous the image is, the less desirable it becomes. And finally, AI scrapers struggle badly with images where the foreground and background blend together.
