Im Kampf gegen meine Smartphone-Sucht nutze ich seit einiger Zeit die App ScreenZen, die mich Bluesky 20 mal pro Tag für jeweils eine Minute öffnen lässt, also nicht wundern, wenn ich nicht so kommunikativ bin. :D

Im Kampf gegen meine Smartphone-Sucht nutze ich seit einiger Zeit die App ScreenZen, die mich Bluesky 20 mal pro Tag für jeweils eine Minute öffnen lässt, also nicht wundern, wenn ich nicht so kommunikativ bin. :D
i’ve downloaded this app called ScreenZen in an effort to be on The Bad Apps (this is 100% one of them) less and i 100% recommend it. it’s like if apple’s Screen Time function was good

Ich bin übrigens zurück aus meiner Social Media Pause. Werde aber definitiv weiterhin mit ScreenZen morgens und abends den Zugang blocken und tagsüber einschränken 🙌

I installed ScreenZen (screentime app) yesterday and put it on for the apps I open mindlessly even though I don't really want to (? brain pls) and the question whether it's important as well as the apps being greyed out in the first place made me open apps I want or do something else instead! YAY!!

I use ScreenZen, I can set how long I use an app for and how long I have to wait between uses. And I use a timer on ScreenZen so I have to wait five minutes before changing any of the settings.

My friend said Screenzen has really helped her stop mindlessly using social media, so now I have it too. I limited myself to 6 times a day at 5 minutes each. Hopefully you see much less of me here, because I have a ton of hobbies that are waiting for me!

I installed ScreenZen back on my phone. I only have discord installed on it (which I keep paused most of the time), but I've found I'm checking reddit, facebook, bsky via the chrome app way too much. And in a mindless way, not in an intentional way.
I also have freedom back on my PC.
