wow, it is suddenly time for the scuttleflies to start pouring from the wall behind the toilet again

last night i was smashing so many roaches by the bunny cage/pen it was like whack a mole. im having to constantly check the stupid mouse traps cuz they don't always squeak. sick of this nasty shit

pest control came thru and i was kind of upset they weren't even wearing masks, let alone respirators. spraying down our mattress with some kind of extra strong bed bug killer and just hacking up a lung like they're gonna die. they treated for bed bugs, mice, roaches, and hopefully the scuttleflies

ive been having an issue where the tiles behind my toilet are cracked so bugs keep coming thru & the apartment owners won't believe me. i had to set up an elaborate water trap & fly strips to catch all the damned scuttleflies but several still get thru. now is apparently time of the tinyflies

good news(?) i figured out we're getting all these fucking scuttleflies because during that flash freeze a few months ago a bunch of pipes up in the roof burst and water was just oozing into the 60+ year old wall spaces here

so a maintenance order got put in. here's to hoping they take care of it

christ on a cracker i need to find some kind of low to medium light pitcher plant, these scuttleflies that are getting in here from behind my toilet are fucking NUTS i hate them so much

This morning discussing FLIES (yes, flies, humpbacked flies, coffin flies and scuttleflies) and microbiome.
