#Decembalex day 24 - “Family”

I'm just getting more self-indulgent with my ideas :') Family is important to Alex, and I could have taken the prompt a lot of ways, but I thought drawing his immediate family with Mal and Leo would be best c: hehe

Alex and Mallory both look slightly older, Mallory's hair slightly grown out and his face looking more tired while Alex is a bit chubbier and has his hair styled in natural waves. They are both wearing mermaid's pendants, though Mallory's is a shattered seashell inside of a locket. Mallory has his arms around both Alex and Leo's shoulders, while Alex touches Mal's hand on his shoulder and has his other arm around Leo. Leo has freckles, a gap in his smile, and his hair is thick and curly. He is smiling up at Alex while holding a blue-crowned conure, and Alex is smiling fondly down at Leo. Mallory is beaming behind them both, smiling with his eyes. 2021 is written in the background.

#Decembalex day 31 - “Future”

He's the big, strong trunk of this family tree :3 As I work on OCTS, I'm thinking of Alex's future! He doesn't even realize just how far he's come until he's supporting his son and newly discovered brother-in-law 🥺

#repostyourart day 6: Bird

I haven't drawn a lot of birds in general until I started drawing Leo's bird!! His name is Henry :> I've been learning so much about parrots because of him, and watching so many videos of blue-crown conures specifically hehe

My OC Mallory, pictured at age 36. There are some signs of aging beneath his eyes, and his hair is now a few inches longer and tied in a braid, while his bangs are notably shorter. He is wearing his usual plaid shirt tucked into jeans, with his shattered mermaid's pendant around his neck. He is smiling at the viewer and extending his hand in a welcome gesture. Alex from Stardew Valley, pictured at age 32. He has more mass to his body, but he is just as strong as ever. It's muscle-fat now. His hair is worn naturally and has a slight wave to it. He is wearing a t-shirt and half-undone overalls, his mermaid's pendant resting between his pecs. He is lifting one arm up to flex his bicep while the other hand rests on his overalls. He is grinning confidently at the viewer. Leo from Stardew Valley, pictured at age 11. His hair is thick and curly and he is covered in moles all over his face, neck, and arms. He is wearing a red t-shirt with blue and gold stripes across it. He is smiling at the viewer, placing one hand over his chest. Sebastian from Stardew Valley, pictured at age 39. His hair is grown long but shaved underneath, with the shaved side peeking out as the rest of the hair rests on the shoulder opposite it. He is wearing dark layered t-shirts and compression gloves on his hands, and has his mermaid's guitar picks to represent Sam and Abigail around his neck. His arms are crossed over his chest and he has a guarded expression on his face.

This might seem quick but I've honestly been thinking about this since I got to Ginger Island for the first time many months ago, I just needed a push to finally draw it /)///(\ so here's the gist of the idea + my redesign of Leo!

#stardewvalley #sdvleo #sdvalex #malex #myocs #oc
Digital artwork of Leo from Stardew Valley. He has been redesigned slightly, to have wild curly hair and freckles. His island outfit consists of a large tattered shirt adorned with parrot feathers and dried grass, as well as a grass skirt over top of some non-descript pants. In the second image, he is wearing a colorful red, orange, and yellow t-shirt and his hair has been cleaned up. There is text on the screen describing his look, and describing how the farmer and Alex come to find and adopt him. A short comic featuring Stardew Valley characters and an OC, drawn digitally. In the first panel, Penny is looking older, smiling as she looks over her shoulder. She says "Welcome home! How was your-" she is cut off by a loud squawk. In the next panel she is looking shocked, her eyes wide. In the last panel, Alex and a male farmer are standing with Leo between them. They look very tired and Leo is squawking rapidly as if he is overstimulated. The farmer says "Um... you can guess."

A fun little oneshot about Leo and Rob (!!!!!) set after the events of OCTS because I'm insane and my brain can't function in chronological order :') But there's no spoilers or anything!!

An ao3 screenshot of my fic 'Macaw Makeover'. The summary and author's note are as follows: Leo spends the day with his Uncle Rob and Rob's friends who doll him up to look like a real parrot. Oh my god hi I'm well and truly insane because this is a fic set in my overarching ficverse but this is set after the events of 'out come the sun' which I will not be ready to begin publishing for another year 😂 This fic doesn't really contain spoilers, all you need to know is that Mallory (the farmer) and Alex have adopted Leo and he's been in Pelican Town a few years by now and is around 12-13 years old, and living with them is Mal's younger half-brother Rob who works as a farmhand. The other characters that appear, Gabe and Sho, are Rob's best friends who live in Zuzu City. At the time of writing this oneshot, I've written about 32k words of 'out come the sun' and Leo and Rob are itching to get out of my head!! So here is a fun little ficlet with the two of them :> Written for the SDV Writers Guild Weekly Word Challenge with the prompt 'A Pop of Color'.
