OTD 3-10-1944; On the Island of Walcheren the seadike between the Radarapparatus and Battery Westkapelle was bombed by airplanes and the dike was reported to be destroyed and had a breach of 80 metres. Seawater started flowing in at around 15:00. Walcheren is becoming a giant soupbowl.

Saw a big old shower approach , swallowing a German island before hammering down on our seadike.
Saw a stunning rainbow, it looked flattened on top and stayed put for a long long time.
Saw two deer running towards me on my way home, they took a sharp left when they spotted me, but got really close!

Thirty days wild...mmmh... I'm not sure the sheep who grazen the sea dike count as ' wild', but they *do* gave me mad stare as I was sat there sketching, so here goes...
