Mermaids are generally portrayed as either sweet and harmless people, or as overly aggressive. I believe that among the peaceful mermaids there must have been those who were engaged in protection.

Discovered, to my horror, that Seamaiden had never watched "Miami Vice," so we started from the beginning. The scripts, direction, and acting are so cartoonishly over the top, especially from this guy, I'm amazed it made it past season 1.

We had two young women come to our door recently. They asked if we were planning on voting for Tim and Seamaiden told them we'd already voted. Then they asked if we voted for Tim, to which Seamaiden replied, "I don't think you are allowed to ask that, but no we didn't." And that was that.
