Winter 12/12/23 Written by: Anita Huerta Crystals Fall from the sky like the heavens opening up and leaving gifts for those who believe. Snowflakes dance as they land in the quiet of night. Bare branches sway as they get covered in a fresh blanet of snow, as a reminder to us that winter is near. The smell of hot cocoa lingers in the air as families get together and enjoy a fun day of sledding in the fresh snow. Winter is a time everyone gets together to celebrate the holidays and just be surrounded by those they love. Winter, a time of loving and maybe even missing those we've lost previously. Yet, we know every holiday they come back to be with us, even though we can't see them.
