Ogre-faced spider fact: Their webbing lacks the stickiness of other spider's webs, but latch onto prey like lint getting stuck in a sweater. They're more like nets than webs. (4/7)

Honestly this chapter took longer to finish that I would've liked, and I think that's due to being intimidated by the backgrounds I needed to draw. Scenery is not my forte, so I could only do the best I can. Nobody ever said making comics was easy. (3/3)

The bats are supposed to be Northern Long-Eared Bats, but despite looking up pictures of that species, I ended up drawing the ears incorrectly. Whoops. If this family ever appears again, expect their designs to be slightly different. (2/3)

The idea for this came from a conversation I had this past May with an actual postal worker, who did indeed have someone get angry with her for getting their mail wet during a rainstorm. I just made up my own ending. (2/2)

I had a lot of fun designing the different pirates. Some are still missing names, though.
Also, to clarify, "cowry" refers to the name of the currency used in this world, not the actual shell. Though it *is* named after the shell.
