Here's yet another reason why PBR is just too cool - specifically the DOUBLE-SIDED option. Have a mesh with missing faces like this? No problem! Just click DOUBLE-SIDED and it'll flip the normals to reflect on the other side of the mesh!!

Ahh..So this is why reflection probes are important
Without them you get this weird glowy haze around things. Kind of wish this weren't a thing without them. (Which is about 99% of places on SL)

well, i finished a thing ... with old style textures / hybrid old - pbr metal, and full pbr ... (just did not set up reflection probe for photo) ...

now, to decide what i am going to do with them .

Also setting 'Reflection Probe Ambience' to 0 is the ONLY WAY I've found as a workaround to not make my avatar look extra crispy and stop that tone-mapping effect (the constant shift in contrast & brightness).
