100% agreed. I've been working for years volunteering with SeekHealing, a Western NC based non-profit focused on the loneliness epidemic, regionally and through an online program. It's really life-changing and it's 100% free.

The online calendar is here: www.seekhealing.org/locations/on...
We are the medicine The loneliness epidemic is making us sick. Despair around disconnection is real. ‍ SeekHealing offers non-profit social health programs that bring people together to heal trauma and ignite mutual support within communities. We facilitate the power of authentic relationship and human connection. We envision a world where everyone belongs, where resilient and compassionate communities thrive in a slower world—a world people no longer wish to escape from, but live in together.

"Loneliness is a disease. It’s not hard to see that we are the medicine. That is why @seekhealing.org exists. SeekHealing is an urgent care center for the soul, the voice of one crying 'We need each other'... a distribution center with an endless supply of connection... a pharmacy of relationship."

It's a container that incorporates a lot of principles from other practices like Authentic Relating or Circling, made trauma-informed and more accessible to the uninitiated.

This is what the non-profit I co-founded is pioneering: a movement called "social health."

I saw a great conversation between Dmitri Mugianis (a man who went to federal prison for performing ibogaine-assisted opioid detox in the US) and Jen Nicolaisen (founder of a pioneering social health non-profit) on this topic. It was really eye opening for me.
