Oh yeah new month means I can share my September watchlist!
I enjoyed most of these a good deal, especially the new summer releases. Though, I think "A Hundred Scenes of Awajima" is my #1!

Thing that fascinates me about this guy is that he's got the general vibe and talent of a particularly useless early 00s webcomic creator, one who's got a load of wild and unreasonable grudges and can't fucking wait to mock them as gross caricatures while his heroic self insert ponders wisely.
Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire is quietly shooting a pro-ICE movie that dramatizes the Renee Good killing. We got the script.

OC tober day 1:
The Green Witch
An old rp character that was just a form of a self insert. Her name leans to the magic she uses and not her clothes, she's normally depicted in red and browns.

I don’t need AI to start making up my own self insert fan fiction
This is so silly and I truly cant imagine many consumers will feel that being able to “talk” to characters in a book adds much value. techcrunch.com/2026/10/01/a...
Audible's new features let you explore book worlds — and use AI to talk to characters | TechCrunch
Audible is rolling out new features that help listeners keep track of characters, explore places and imagery mentioned in books, and even interact with characters using generative AI.

It got me thinking if I should subject my sona to kinky ideas, but like in a..."as his own character that is still 100% a self-insert" kind of way. Food for thought.

In a purely hypothetical sense, would it be normal to want to get back into drawing and art for the sake of fulfilling a self-insert crackship

they should have brought the self-insert back as a new RiNG employee but instead of being talked to by any of the characters it gives you the option to experience the story like you’re constantly accidentally overhearing really uncomfortable conversations and you have to try and leave.

I’m assuming it’s never confirmed, I don’t think they would have given the self-insert any defining physical traits like other gacha games at the time considering they don’t play a role in the story at all
