#selfseed
Every tomato in this garden was self-seeded. And that eggplant in the corner is in its third year and has a flower on it already.

Nature, I love you!

Thought I'd transplanted some flat leafed parsley ...

Nope, looks like celery. The seeds must have been in the ground for a couple of years!

Nature is amazing 😍

Love that plant! I just planted one last spring and adore the tiny flowers. I'd be thrilled to see it selfseed across my yard. So far no luck. 😅

We'd loads, but too overgrown.
Had last year's ones selfseed in the veg patch, so we kept some as an experiment to see how true they grew. Unfortunately 4 became 7, when they were big we ended up with 5 others pushing through.
The Sungold came true, the red cherries were proper toms & plums!

Speaking of plants that randomly selfseed do you know anyone who might want about 500 baby hibiscus?

The poppy has so far survived the rather chaotic weather … hopefully will selfseed itself along my boarder

A beautiful calendula daisy enjoying the rain over the weekend.

Calendulas are such hard workers in the garden - they help the pollinators, repel some bugs, re-seed readily, cover the ground, and brighten up the garden wherever they are.

My cosmos and lavatera seedlings finally big enough to transplant. Usually they selfseed but didn’t this year, so had to start some quite late

In a cold climate like Pittsburgh, it's such a delight to have flowers this early...

and they bloom for so long!

and they have handsome almost evergreen foliage!

and they selfseed politely!

and deer don't eat them!

I grew there the first time last year and told they selfseed but see nothing coming up. I kept lots of seeds in shed but even those I threw down never came up. Mine are mauve. Not sure if the same plant you have
